Sold for the asking price of $679,900 after staging this Fairlakes Way property in Orleans
The owners of this house listed their property in March for $665,000 and it expired without an offer. The agent gave them no advice regarding the benefits of staging nor suggest updates or fixes and although the house was spotless it did not sell. Given there were no updates done on the home, this property was overpriced at the time.
The new real estate professional suggested Heart and Home Staging come in to do a staging consultation and also took the time to have the conversation about the importance of investing in the updates that “sell” a property and bring return, along with the need to stage.
When we did the staging consultation we suggested they invest in new counter tops and taps for all three bathrooms. (They were the original counters - laminate. We sourced light white, grey quartz counters and new taps for them and suggested a fresh coat of paint throughout which they did. And voila....success!They embraced everything and it sold for $679,900.
